maslo — sound redone
I'm constantly improving my production skills to sound more mature. :) This time I decided to rework my latest released track, Maslo, and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. You're welcome to download the new version — it's just the same link on the good old music page.
I wanted to ask you for a favor — if you are really interested in my music works and consider them interesting, please spread the word about this blog. Vospi, Michael Rybak and Megus live in Rostov-on-Don, 12.07.2009. We're doing Vospi's tracks guitar+vocal style acoustics covers, talking a bit and having massive snatch of fun on this recording. This Vospi Powered release is still available on CD (last copies left I think), but now it's still released there, free to download.

Suddenly, another cover version — I really like this house-old-time-favourite song by Deepest Blue, and I tried to sing it several times before. Here is a result of my practice for now.

The original song. This actually started as small scatch, but I enjoyed overdubbing new parts over and over again playing everything, so it ended up like this (I especially like how it was possible to process my acoustic guitar into the bass sound). Vocal is slightly getting better (but my English is still too bad xD). I'd like to dedicate this song to a friend of mine who's birthday passed yesterday: Vladislava, please excuse me for my silence and have a nice year! :)
I'm feeling okay, I practice my DJ skills with Live, I play Pump Pro and enjoy Influenza Media imprint along with Klute. Hope you're okay, too. :)

Kind of a status message: Pump It Up page was updated (fixed banners for PIU Pro; now pro banners are set by default). Look for full changelog in the near future! Simfiles section promo video is in development.
Also, some PIU Pro no bar scores. Suddenly, I'm in training again. :)

It was obvious for me that I will touch this precious song this or that way.
(and I hope that you're not tired of youtubes, not yet! ;))
I'm really glad that I had a chance to do it that way with Michael. This work means a lot for me.

Now for some technical details. We recorded this at Michael's Rybak home studio in Kiev, Ukraine; everything was recorded simultaneously using Kawai electropiano (also routed by midi), M-Audio Nova condenser mic (for me) and some dynamic mic that I couldn't recall now (for Michael). Of course I can see quite a bit of harshness in this performance but still I'm satisfied. I'd really like to improve myself to the level where me and my partner could reach harmony easily while performing live. So it's a bit of dream-came-true thing to me.
We really hope you enjoy it. Be sure to check the original track, too; it's gorgeous.

Vospi – Napad (remix 04) feat. BEMAFIA
Once again, new track from Napad series was performed on stage during Pump It Up championship — now not on local event but on RPF-2009 (Russian Pump Festival). Woohoo, big one. I was really glad people enjoyed the thing, hope you will, too. Still this Napad is not my favourite one, and if you want to check other Napads out, you should dig youtube links that I will list below. And for now — remix 04, finally!

First of all, I have to announce that two of my dnb tracks (Too fast To Age and its remix called love VIP version) are released on digital label Liquid Brilliants and are available to buy at Juno and other places you prefer. Please check things-to-buy section for more info.
Secondary, I'd like to show you the way to new file that just appeared in mixes section — vospi's live at fukken exclusive radio 26-27.11.09 — and leave a big shout to Chidora for recording this. I hope that the set is enjoyable and I promise to practice more.
